Buon anno a tutti dal Giappone. Il capodanno qui si festeggia con eccezionale sobrietà. Una tranquilla cena a base di soba (grano saraceno) e poco altro. I riti però non mancano e stamattina si vedevano ovunque lunghe code davanti ai templi, si bruciano testoline rosse di daruma (vecchi voti avverati) e foglietti con promesse e speranze. Anche i cibi che si mettono in tavola seguono tradizioni antiche.

Io come al solito assorbo tutto e mi diverto. Saku si ingozza felice ignaro del fatto che è iniziato un nuovo anno, all’insegna della scimmia.
